About Us
Our company is professional manufacturer that have been developing and manufacturing optical fibers and silica-based optical fiber products for more than forty years. We manufacture silica-based optical fiber in-house and assemble fiber optic products for various applications using these fibers. We continuously develop our manufacturing technology from prototype to mass production to create the best products. That makes us able to ensure that our products meet our customers’ requirements and excel in terms of characteristics, quality, and cost.
The business currently specializes medical optical fiber, optical fiber for industrial laser delivery (LASERGUIDE®), and optical fiber bundles for semiconductor equipment, that has earned a high reputation both in Japan and overseas.
For further growth of the buisiness, MFOPTEX Co., Ltd. was established in December 2022 as a new company by splitting out Mitsubishi Cable Industries and introducing additional capital from Furukawa Electric Co., Ltd. We will aim for greater growth through the synergistic effects of two companies.
